This event was aimed at legal professionals, professional court users, local authorities, third sector organisations, health professionals and all those interested in the future reform of the tribunals system.

This is one of a series of events to engage and inform on the work we are doing in collaboration with the senior judiciary and the Ministry of Justice, to reform the courts and tribunals system.

This event outlined details of the system we’re developing that allows appellants in Social Security and Child Support to track their appeal online, and receive text and email alerts letting them know what is happening.

It also covered the submitting of online appeals in two benefits – Personal Independence Payment and Employment Support Allowance – in all of England and Wales. Both projects are bringing digital processes to tribunals – aiming to make the processes simpler and more user friendly for all involved.
