List of roll on roll off ports
Find out which locations are listed as roll on roll off in UK customs regulations.
This list will only apply until 31 December 2021.
From 1 January 2022, you’ll need to check which locations:
- use the Goods Vehicle Movement Service
- you must submit a pre-lodged declaration
- need an arrived export declaration, if you’re exporting goods from the UK
Detail
The following locations or part‐locations are roll on roll off (RORO) listed locations in UK customs regulations. This is not a complete list of all locations that have RORO traffic.

We have updated the guidance to confirm that from 1 January you'll need to check which locations use the Goods Vehicle Movement Service, which need you to submit a pre-lodged declaration and which need an arrived export declaration (if you're exporting goods from the UK).
