This recording outlines the common problems emerging with moving goods between GB to UK and EU to GB. This includes:

  • problems that have arisen since 1 January 2021
  • technical processes where goods are moving through the border
  • understanding why goods are being held and/or re-exported back to the UK and how to deal with this
  • how to get goods verified and released if held

This webinar was delivered on 27 January 2021. Information is accurate as of the time of recording. Please note, a new timeline for border control processes for importing goods has now been agreed. These changes will come into effect from October 2021 to March 2022. Read more
