Pay your Ofsted annual registration fee by direct debit

Download and complete the direct debit form to pay your Ofsted annual registration fee.

You can pay your Ofsted early years annual fee by direct debit. We will collect your annual registration fee by direct debit on the anniversary of your registration.

What you need

You will need:

  • Ofsted reference number (this usually starts with EY, EZ or VC)
  • name and address of the setting
  • name and address of the authorised signatory or signatories
  • signatory’s bank or building society name, account number and sort code

You will need to print the form to add your signature (hand-written).

You can scan the form and e-mail it to fees@ofsted.gov.uk.

What happens next

We will send a confirmation letter to your registered address, once we receive the form.

If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your direct debit, we will notify you at least 10 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed.

You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by contacting your bank or building society. You should also notify us.

Payments will appear on your bank statements as Ofsted.
