This service helps schools and trusts plan and use digital technology to:
- keep children safe online
- prevent cyber incidents
- upgrade and maintain technology in cost-effective ways
Schools and trusts can:
- complete self-assessments to get recommendations to help meet the digital and technology standards
- track progress against the recommendations they receive
Multi-academy trusts (MATs) can complete and submit self-assessments for more than one school at a time.
Who can use the service
This service is for schools and trusts in England.
Anyone who has a DfE Sign-in account for your school or trust can use this service. There is no need to add the service or get approval to access it.
Anyone who maintains or has responsibility for digital technology in your school or trust may find it helpful.
Register for a DfE Sign-in account if you do not already have one.

DfE will not share your information with any other organisations, including Ofsted.
