Guidance

Provide quarterly service performance data

All transactional public facing services must provide quarterly service performance data to data.gov.uk

To meet this commitment as part of Digital and Data Function’s strategic commitments your plans must show how you will share performance data.

From the public beta phase onwards, your commitment is to:

  • provide quarterly performance data to the data.gov.uk platform
  • design the performance components of your transactional service so that data can be provided efficiently

You must begin planning from the start of delivery to meet this requirement and must develop a clear strategy for how performance data will be captured in later phases of delivery.

If you’re going through the spend control process you must explain how you’re meeting the performance data sharing commitment if your spend request has been rated high on the risk and importance framework or has an assurance rating of ‘control’.

Answering ‘no’ will not lead to an automatic rejection and you will need to explain why your spend cannot align to the commitment.
