Read the specifications for SIA licence-linked training

Our specification documents form the basis of the qualifications linked to SIA licensing.

We set the rules about what SIA licence holders must know and be able to do in their role. We explain these requirements in our qualification specifications, which then form the basis of SIA licence-linked qualifications.

These qualifications are intended for people who are new to the private security industry. These specifications therefore cover the core activities of each role. They are not intended to cover all the training that an operative could possibly have.
