Sign in to your Boiler Upgrade Scheme installer account

Sign in to your Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) installer account to apply for vouchers and track the progress of your applications.

Applies to England and Wales

This page is for installers of heat pumps or biomass boilers. There is different guidance for property owners.

Sign in to your BUS installer account to:

  • apply for BUS vouchers
  • find out how to redeem BUS vouchers
  • check the status of your voucher applications and voucher redemption applications

To take part in the scheme, installers must be certified with MCS (or an equivalent scheme, should one become available).

Sign in

The system will sign you out if you stay on a single page for more than 60 minutes.

Before you start

Your business must have a BUS installer account.

To sign in, you’ll need your email address and the password you created when you set up your user account.

If your business does not have a BUS installer account

You’ll need to apply for an account with Ofgem.

The person who creates the account must:

  • have the legal authority to act on behalf of the business
  • agree to be the business’s ‘authorised representative’ for the scheme

If your business has a BUS installer account, but you do not have access

You’ll need to get set up as a user on the account. Contact the person who first created the installer account, or someone at your business who has permission to add users to the account.

Once you’ve been added, you’ll get an email inviting you to set up a user account. If you cannot see it in your inbox, check your spam or junk mail folder.
