Reporting notifiable animal diseases

If you suspect a notifiable animal diseases or have animal welfare concerns, please notify APHA immediately - failure to do this is an offence.

Reporting new or re-emerging animal diseases

If you have found something new, unusual, severe, or unresponsive in relation to animal diseases, contact:

Read the guidance on animal disease scanning surveillance at APHA to find out about the national surveillance network.

Use the post-mortem examination and carcase collection postcode lookup to find your allocated centre and check if your postcode is eligible for free carcase collection.
