View and respond to a family public law application

An online service to allow solicitors and other representatives to view and respond to public law orders.

The orders covered by this service are:

  • care orders and interim care orders
  • supervision orders and interim supervision orders
  • emergency protection orders
  • other orders under part 4 of the Children Act 1989

Solicitors of parents or other parties can use this service to:

  • view orders and directions
  • upload case documents
  • view documents uploaded by others
  • get notifications about a case

View or respond to an order

The service is being phased in across England and Wales from 14 September.

If you’re a representative on a case that’s been started on the service, you’ll need to create an account for your company or legal practice.

If you have an account

If your company or legal practice has an account, ask your account manager to give you access.

You’ll then be able to sign in to view and manage cases you’re linked to.
