Withdraw funds from your cash account for Customs Declaration Service declarations

Use form CDSCAW1 to withdraw funds from your cash account if you need a refund.

Funds can be withdrawn from a cash account as long as they go to a bank account that is registered to the cash account owner.

What you need

You will need to tell us the:

• details of your company, including contact information
• amount you want to withdraw
• name of the cash account holder
• EORI number
• bank details
• requester’s name and role in the company
• reason for the withdrawal of funds

How long it takes

We aim to process all UK requests within 5 working days. Your funds will be in your bank account within 7 to 10 working days following processing.

Fill out a withdrawal request form (CDSCAW1) and send it to the address on the form.

Withdrawal checks

To make sure the funds are only paid to the cash account owner, we will check the:

• cash account name
• EORI number
• company name
• requester

1. 3 October 2023

   A new version of form CDSCAW1 has been added. You must now give your bank name and account details every time you complete the form. The section for international bank accounts has been removed and the return address has been updated.

4. 1 June 2022
