Help you can get

The deadline to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme was 30 June 2021 for most people. You can still apply if you’re eligible and can show reasonable grounds for the delay in applying.

If you’re vulnerable, you can get help and advice with your application from a number of organisations and charities. This includes if you:

  • are elderly

  • are isolated

  • are disabled

  • are a child in care

  • have significant language or literacy problems

  • have mental health issues

  • do not have a permanent address

  • are in an abusive or controlling relationship, or are experiencing domestic violence

  • are the victim of human trafficking

Your application may be complex if, for example, you were a victim of domestic violence, human trafficking or modern slavery.

There are different organisations that can help depending on where you live.

Contact organisations directly to see how they may be able to support your application.
