Follow the guidance for the regime that you are checking if there is any possibility that you may need to visit someone at their private residence.

When a visit to a private residence is necessary you should

• carefully consider your own personal safety

• be aware of the potential for

  • discussions to be misrepresented, or
  • allegations to be made concerning conduct
• leave if asked to do so
• prepare notes of the meeting.
