COM132054 - Returns / notices: return handling: logging - screen messages
You rarely need to change the AP structure using function LRTN (Log Return). If you need to do so, COTAX may amend the record but display a message to alert you to further action that is required. The advisory messages are shown below.
Message 1 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied.
Message 2 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied. The dates used have created a new short AP between the end date of the previous AP and the start date of the new AP.
Message 3 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied, but penalties remain on one or more superseded APs.
Message 4 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied. These dates have:
- created a new short AP between the end date of the previous AP and the start date of the new AP
- resulted in penalties remaining on one or more superseded APs.
Message 5 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied. There is a potential enquiry signal set on one or more superseded APs.
Message 6 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied.
The dates used have created a new short AP between the end date of the previous AP and the start date of the new AP.
There is a potential enquiry signal set on one or more superseded APs.
Message 7 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied but penalties remain on one or more superseded APs.
There is a potential enquiry signal set on one or more superseded APs.
Message 8 - The AP record has been updated using the dates you supplied.
The dates used have created a new short AP between the end date of the previous AP and the start date of the new AP and resulted in penalties remaining on more or more superseded APs.
There is a potential enquiry signal set on one or more superseded APs.
You must:
- note the content of the message displayed
- select the [OK] button to remove it
- select the required AP, log and capture the return
- pass the return to a Technical Caseworker or CT Co-ordinator to review the AP record.
If the AP record is still incorrect and you cannot proceed, exit the function and refer to a Technical Caseworker or CT Co-ordinator.
