DMBM234710 - Bank Lodgement Adjustments and Discrepancies in SAFE

Where it is recognised that a payment posted to a SAFE customer or charge record is affected by a Bank Lodgement Adjustment (BLA) the following action is taken by the BLA Team within DMB Banking.<h2>Excess Credit</h2>Where an excess credit has been posted to SAFE, the whole posting is removed from the record and the correct amount reposted. The existing BLA process is then carried out in OAS.<h2>Insufficient Credit</h2>Where an insufficient credit has been posted to SAFE, the credit subsequently received from the bank is allocated to SAFE in the normal way and will appear on the record as a separate payment.
