Exceptionally, you may receive cases where the Welsh language signal is set on IDMS Taxpayer Designatory Data screen.

This signal identifies an employer who has opted to receive all communications from the Revenue in Welsh, including phone communication.

If you identify this type of case:

• do not contact the employer
• liase with the Welsh Unit (This content has been withheld because of exemptions in the Freedom of Information Act 2000) on the best way to take the case forward.
