DANSP01700 - Legislation: The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations 1999
The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Regulations 1999 (SI 1999 No 1027)
These regulations came into force on 1st April 1999 and contain provisions concerning
- decisions, and
- appeals against decisions in relation to National Insurance contributions, employment status and all matters relating to Statutory Payments.
They apply to the United Kingdom, which includes Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
These regulations were amended by the

- The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Amendment Regulations 2002 (SI 2002 No 3120),
- The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Amendment Regulations 2010 (SI 2010 No 2451),
- The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Amendment Regulations 2015 (SI 2015 No 174),
- The Social Security Contributions (Decisions and Appeals) Amendment Regulations 2020 (SI 20020 No 238), and
- The Transfer of Tribunal Functions and Revenue and Customs Appeals Order 2009 (SI 2009 No 56), (see DANSP02600).
