IDG51280 - Information disclosure Gateways with other government departments: Department for Work and Pensions (DWP): requests for name and address of employer

The name and address of a claimant’s employer should not be provided routinely. If DWP specifically request the name and address of an employer, you may only disclose this if the agreed stencil (seeDWP (PDF 42KB),) includes a satisfactory explanation showing the reason this information is needed and how it is to be used.
