IPTM7610 - Part surrenders and assignments: periodic calculations: related policies

The totals in the periodic calculation only include values and payments relating to the policy or contract in question, not to any related policies within the meaning given in IPTM7515.

If there are any related policies then the values of part surrenders and part assignments on those policies are not brought into these calculations.

Similarly, premiums paid on related policies do not give rise to allowable elements. But where proceeds from an earlier related policy are applied as premium of the current policy, that premium will give rise to an allowable element in the same way as any other premium paid.
