How to identify an unsuccessful attempt to make a claim
Examples of an unsuccessful attempt to make a claim are
- Claims made after expiry of the time limit
- Declaration on the claim form not signed
- Declaration signed but not by the claimant or other suitable signatory where appropriate
- Not answering relevant questions on the claim form
- Not supplying all the other information or documents requested in the claim form or notes
- DT Claim not certified where needed (see certification of claims at INTM330500)
