INTM860360 - Representatives of Overseas Governments: foreign consuls and their staffs: Particulars about Commonwealth Citizens
Each year the Embassy Unit should ask consuls for the names, addresses and remuneration of consular employees who are locally recruited and Commonwealth citizens, or citizens of the Republic of Ireland.
If the consular representative declines to supply the information, report the facts to BAI, Business International (Immunities & Privileges)for instructions where
- you think there are employees in either category and
- your only hope of getting the required particulars is from the employer.
As consular offices in London are normally an integral part of the embassy, refer to BAI, Business International (Immunities & Privileges)for advice about addressing communications to them.
