INTM860810 - European Union: exemption from Taxation

From 1 January 2021, the European Union, its assets, revenues and other property are no longer exempt from all direct taxes. In general, its assets and investments owned at 31 December 2020 continue to be exempt from direct taxes, but those acquired after that date are subject to UK direct tax in the normal way. From 1 January 2021 there is no general exemption from direct tax.
