MLR3C10405 - Trust or Company Service Providers (TCSPS): Introduction

MLR 2007 extended the scope of the Regulations to the Trust or Company Service Provider (TCSP) sector with effect from 15 December 2007 and they were placed under the supervisory responsibility of HMRC. In addition, the beneficial owners, directors and nominated officer of a TCSP business are required to pass the “Fit and Proper Persons” test before the business can be added to the MLR register.
