SW06820 - Review Recycle Bin: Restore Items

An HMRC Business Authorising Officer (BAO) is the only person in a Room that can restore a file or item still stored in the Room’s Recycle Bin.

If a member wants to restore a deleted file or item, they must contact a BAO giving full details of the file or item they want restored.

When restored, a file or item moves to the BAO’s ‘Your Hidden Items’ area and the access control defaults to allow access to BAOs only. The BAO must then change the access controls to allow access by the appropriate members.
