Get help and advice from the local council if you’re homeless or about to lose your home.

There’s a different way to get help in Scotland and to get help in Northern Ireland.

Enter a postcode where you have a local connection. This might be where you’ve lived recently, have close family or work.

If you’ve served in the armed forces in the last 5 years

You do not need to have a local connection if you’ve served in the armed forces within the last 5 years. 

If it’s been more than 5 years, you’ll need to have a local connection to apply for help.
