The FCDO invites proposals by 28 February 2025 for evaluating climate cooperation with indigenous peoples and local communities in conflict-affected forest regions in Colombia.

Organisations should submit proposals by 5pm UK time on 28 February 2025.

Overview

The UK and Colombia have a strong diplomatic relationship focused on environmental cooperation, particularly in the Amazon. The UK supports initiatives addressing conflict, stability, and security challenges, working directly with indigenous peoples and local communities in Colombia.

The FCDO invites proposals for a maximum budget of £115,000 for evaluating climate cooperation with indigenous peoples and local communities in conflict-affected forest regions.

What the fund will achieve

The fund aims to evaluate the engagement of indigenous peoples and local communities in climate cooperation initiatives within conflict and crime-affected forest regions in Colombia.

The evaluation will focus on assessing the effectiveness of the involvement of indigenous peoples and local communities in various UK-supported programmes. This will inform future strategies and enhance sustainable development outcomes.
