Question

Can the results of a fire test be performed following the hydrocarbon time/ temperature curve indicated in EN 1363-2, in lieu of the time/temperature curve in ISO 834/ EN 1363-1, be accepted for issuance of UK type examination (Module B) certification?

Recommendation

The reply to this question is “no”. Fire tests are to be performed following the requirements and procedures set out in the Fire Test Procedures Code.
