Adopted EU recommendation LSA-013. UK approved recommendation on the approval of inflatable lifejackets.
Question
Can an inflatable lifejacket receive UK approval if the two compartments do not inflate automatically?
Recommendation
No, all compartments shall inflate automatically on immersion in accordance with the Life Saving Appliances (LSA) Code 2.2.2.
