Hazard

The product has been recalled as it presents a risk of electric shock due to it’s poor mechanical strength and inadequate creepage and clearance distances. When impact tests were performed, the plastic enclosure broke open, giving users access to live parts. Additionally, the minimum creepage and clearance distances between live and neutral on the control printed circuit board (PCB) tracks were 1.1mm. The minimum requirements are 1.5mm clearance and 2.5mm creepage. The interconnection plug does not meet dimensional requirements and the UK mains plug adaptor does not meet BS EN 1363 polarity requirements. The product did not contain a marking label and no user instructions were provided. Some of the required documentation and markings were not present.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

The product has been recalled from end users.

The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Wish).
