Product Identifiers The 700HPM (affected manifold) is a variable volume (VV) assembly designed to be used in closed-system pneumatic applications where changing the volume of the system will change the pressure. This affected manifold is supplied as a part/component to the Fluke 700HPPK (Kit) which is a manually operated high pressure pneumatic test pump. All serial numbers below 6516XXX are affected.

Hazard

This product presents a serious risk of injuries as during manual pressurization of the equipment, the plunger nut threads of the High-Pressure Pneumatic Calibration Manifold may yield releasing the plunger assembly and allowing it to be ejected at high velocity. The threads securing the plunger assembly have been found to fail prematurely. This can result in serious injury to the user.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

Corrective action
