Hazard
The product poses a serious risk of injuries to the user. When tested, the ladder failed on functional dimensions, lateral deflection, bending of stiles, strength tests, rung strength and rung pull out test strength as well as the torsion test for leaning ladders. It also did not comply with the labelling requirements and the instructions for use were poor.
This product does meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
