Hazard
This product poses a medium risk of suffocation as the supplied polymer bag was sufficiently large so as to be able to cover a child’s mouth and nose simultaneously. When measured it was found to have an average thickness 0.033mm, which is below the 0.038mm standard. It does not bear any warnings that this has been calculated to pose a risk.
The product does not meet the requirements of the the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
Product has been voluntarily recalled from end users, and Fruugo has removed the product from its platform.
