Hazard
This product poses a serious risk of choking as when tested according to the tension test, the glued elements detached at forces between 10 N and 15 N and fit entirely within the Small Parts Cylinder. When tested according to impact test, the wooden rings broke releasing elements which also fit entirely within the Small Parts Cylinder.
The cord of the teether with star has a length of 222 mm when subjected to a tensile force of 25 N ± 2 N, greater than the maximum authorised value of 220 mm. The cords of the teether with peas and the teether with sunflower touch at their tangle points when the gauge X is in place and have combined lengths greater than maximum authorised value of 220 mm. The star protrudes past the base of the template A.
The product does not comply fully with the marking requirements of the relevant standard and does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (eBay).
