Hazard

The product presents a risk of choking as small parts (the rattle with balls and egg rattle) can be easily detached or produced when the product is used. The Velcro adhesions are also small parts as received. A young child may place the small part in their mouth and the parents/carers may not notice in time, with the small part able to block a child’s airways.

The length of the dummy clip was 250mm (greater than 220mm maximum) and the ribbon length on wooden ring was 400mm (greater than 300mm maximum), thereby presenting a strangulation hazard. The product also requires improvements to labelling and documentation.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

The product has been recalled from end users. The listing has been removed by the online marketplace (Etsy).
