It has been identified that the app that supports the monitor system is no longer functioning correctly. This means that there is a potential risk of the child not being monitored correctly.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
For affected units sold by John Lewis, further information can be found on their recall page at: https://www.johnlewis.com/customer-services/shopping-with-us/product-recalls. The product has also been sold by other distributors.
For affected units sold by Boots, customers have been contacted directly. It is possible to continue to use the camera on a separate app called ‘Tuya Smart App’, but all other app functions will no longer operate. If the reduced function means customers no longer want to use the product, it can be returned to the nearest Boots store with the order number where a full refund will be offered. Alternatively go to Boots.com and follow the online returns process. All affected units sold by Boots were sold online.
