The products claim to be suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. There is no evidence that an appropriate conformity assessment was carried out before the products were placed on the market in Great Britain.
The products do not have any of the required markings, including the specific markings of explosion protection and the symbol of the equipment-group and category.
The products within the scope of the corrective action do not meet the requirements of the Equipment and Protective Systems Intended for Use in Potentially Explosive Atmospheres Regulations 2016.
