Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire because the plug, fuse and cables are counterfeit, and are not of sufficient quality to protect against risks of overheating, fire or electric shock.
The products do not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016 or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users by the manufacturer and distributor. Customers are advised to return the products to any TK Maxx or HomeSense store for a full refund or replacement.
