Hazard

The product has been identified as presenting a risk of injuries as the shock absorption thresholds were exceeded by 2-3 times upon technical inspection, meaning that users may not receive the required protection should they fall from, or be injured by, a horse.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Personal Protective Equipment (Enforcement) Regulations 2018 or the relevant standard, EN 13158:2018.

Corrective action

Horze placed a temporary ban on the supply of the product and withdrew all product from the market in February 2022. Horze have since recalled the products from end users and have contacted distributors and consumers.

We recommend owners stop using this product immediately. Contact the distributor you purchased from to request redress.
