Hazard
Due to variations in the manufacturing process the splices of the main harness may not be sufficiently sealed and allow water intrusion. This can cause corrosion of the main harness resulting in poor transmission of electrical power. There is a risk of serious injury if corrosion occurs in the engine compartment or wiring harness as it may cause the engine to stall during use.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Recreational Craft Regulations 2017.
Corrective action
The product was recalled from end users in November 2023. Owners with affected products should contact the distributor they purchased from for further information.
