Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as a metal part inside the printers may dislodge. This poses a risk of failure and in very rare cases of a potential fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008.
Corrective action
The manufacturer has launched a modification programme and have provided consumers with a repair kit, asking them to complete the repair as soon as possible. They have claimed the metal part can easily be fixed with a free repair kit so that the metal part won’t dislodge.
