Hazard
The affected models present a risk of electric shock because of an intermittent indication fault.
The intermittent fault could have serious safety implications if the product is used to prove circuits are dead, and lead to electric shocks.
This product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the unit if the serial number falls within the affected range. Units with S/No 321xxxxxxx and higher are not subject to recall. Contact Martindale Electric support for advice on 01923 441717.
