Hazard
The product presents a risk of injuries as a it has been identified that there is potential for the engine’s steering position sensor to malfunction. When the steering position sensor malfunctions, it will set a fault code and the vessel’s steering and available thrust will be limited.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Recreational Craft Regulations 2017.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users for repair/replacement. To correct the issue, the steering sensor will be replaced, and the vessel’s propulsion software will be updated.
