The affected products present a risk of injuries as it has been identified that an in-line brake specification change to include Promax brakes has resulted in the brake rotor and specified brake pad not being compatible. As a result, the brakes may not function properly, potentially leading to the user falling or injuring themselves.
The affected bicycles do not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The affected products have been recalled from end users.
Affected consumers are advised to contact their place of purchase to get the brake pads replaced on their bicycle.
