Hazard
Stanley 1913 have issued a voluntary recall of the Switchback and Trigger action travel mugs because the lid threads can shrink when exposed to heat and torque, causing the lid to detach during use, posing a burn hazard.
The product does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005.
Corrective action
The product has been recalled from end users.
Stanley 1913 has asked all their customers currently in possession of the Switchback or Trigger Action travel mugs to immediately stop use of these products and submit a request through this website for a free replacement lid: https://stanley1913tmrecallint.expertinquiry.com/ or by calling 0800 249 4582.
