Hazard
It has been identified that a small number of affected detectors have failed and did not notify the fire panel of their failure. This may result in a fire being undetected, which may lead to users being trapped in a fire or receiving burns.
The affected detectors do not meet the requirements of the Construction Products Regulations 2013.
Corrective action
The affected products have been recalled from end users.
All 57 affected detectors are traceable through installers/customers and can be identified by a combination of the models and the production date codes.
