The product presents a high risk of fire as the mains plug module did not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363. The height of live and neutral pins and the width of the ISOD pin exceeded the maximum permitted tolerance. Over time, the pins can wear down and if the product overheats, the plug can catch fire and burn the user.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
