Hazard
The product presents a serious risk of electric shock as it can be active/energised whilst the user is filling the product. If the hot water bottle was to leak, this could mean leaking water around live parts.
The plug also had insufficient dimensions with the pins too close to the edge of the plug, and was inadequately earthed as it did not contain a fuse.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016, or the Plugs & Sockets etc. (Safety) Regulations 1994.
