The product presents a serious chemical risk as it was found to contain 0.9% peroxide, which is 9 times the maximum permitted limit within cosmetic products. Peroxide was not listed in the ingredients and there was no durability date, responsible person or batch number listed. Hydrogen peroxide at high concentrations causes skin irritation and is harmful if swallowed.
The product does not meet the requirements of Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 or the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013.
