The electric scooter is supplied with a connected, fully charged lithium-ion battery. The folding handlebars have sharp edges which can shear the wiring, causing a short circuit and the product to catch fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations 2009.
