Hazard

The toy presents a serious risk of strangulation due to the length of the cord. The cord length was measured at 1269mm, which is more than the maximum permissible length of 220mm. The springs inside the toy also interlock without much manipulation and can present a risk of strangulation in children under the age of 3.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011.

Corrective action

The manufacturer has voluntarily ceased the supply of affected units.
